Although masses have resumed, our cluster parish understands if you are not comfortable with returning to physical church at this time. You may still participate by watching services from home! Below are resources to help you stay connected while away from St. John's & St. Patrick's Church
1. Archbishop Jackels will livestreat mass at www.DBQArch.org each Sunday at 9:00am.
2. Join Bishop Robert Barron, or Word on Fire CEO, Father Steve Gruno for mass at www.wordonfire.org/daily-mass
3. See USCCB Daily Scripture Readings as well as many other Catholic websites.
If you cannot attend mass or livestream online, we encourage you to read the Gospels, pray with your families, and join yourself to the Eucharist - the source and summit of our Catholic faith - by making an act of spiritual communion like the one recommended by Archbishop Gomez.
"I wish, my Lord, to receive you with the purity, humility, and devotion with which your most holy Mother received you, with the spirit and fervor of the saints." AMEN
Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be sperated from You. AMEN
